HOW DOES YOUR SIMAGIC SETUP HELP WITH YOUR TRAINING?

I’ve had many steering wheel setups over the years and I’m blown away by the quality and workmanship of the SIMAGIC products. As long as you have the software set up right, this feels like the real thing! I use the sim to practice techniques, and hone my ability to stay sharp, lap after lap. It’s a great tool for people that are serious about taking their racing to the next level - and have some fun in the process.

WHAT GOT YOU INTO RACING?

I've had a passion for vehicles since elementary school. In junior high, after watching a video of Keiichi Tsuchiya drifting on a mountain pass, I was inspired to try it myself. During high school, I began motorcycle racing training, and at the age of 22, I bought an AE86 and started drifting.

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR THE NEW COMING YEAR?

In 2024, I will be participating in the D1GP and FDJ competitions. My primary objective is to secure the series championship in both of these prestigious events. Additionally, I'll be taking part in another N2 race with my AE86, and my aim is to emerge victorious in that competition as well.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR SIMAGIC SETUP AND HOW DOES IT HELP WITH YOUR TRAINING?

SIMAGIC has good steering return during drifting.I think the self-steering is very similar to the feeling of a real car.The ability to adjust both pedal hardness and side brake hardness on SIMAGIC gives a realistic driving sensation, making it feel like you're driving a real car.

WHAT DO YOUR LOVE ABOUT YOUR SIM SETUP? HOW DOES IT HELP WITH YOUR TRAINING?

I love my SIMAGIC alpha U for its quality and consistent force feedback through a wide variety of different driving styles and disciplines that I haven’t been able to experience before. The P2000 pedals give the right amount of feel and feedback for optimum accuracy for feeling and feeding grip while maintaining optimum engine rpm with the clutch. The TB-1 load cell handbrake is always spot on and extremely consistent with each and every pull. The Q1 shifter works and feels like an actual sequential giving you the right amount of immersion when rowing through the gears. All in all my SIMAGIC equipment has helped elevate my secondary bedroom to a race machine inside of my house that I can rely on to give me consistent wheel time between rounds and help prepare me for the races ahead.

I started in drag car racing but was looking for more excitement and dynamism, so for me, it was drifting.

For myself, I plan to resume competing in the Drift Masters. I recently established Thailand’s premier drift center to groom the next generation of drifting athletes under Drevil Skill Drift School.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT RACING?

The adrenaline rush and the feeling of being in control of the car, especially in drifting, where we are controlling a car that is constantly on the edge of being out of control.

WHAT IS YOUR GOAL FOR YOUR NEAR FUTURE?

I have been an established circuit racer in the past but I have put my focus on drifting competitions in recent years including achieving overall 2nd in D1GP china 2017, overall champion in 2018 Thailand drift competition and overall 2nd in 2019 Russian drift series. Therefore, I want to continue to drift around the world for the next 2 years and to continue to win more international titles.

WHAT GOT YOU INTO RACING?

My dad took me to the track to watch some racing , that moment I got in love with cars. I found online a lot of best motoring videos that help me understand better some driving techniques for track days and drifting… So with all that information on my head i apply to work at the track with he drag races and track days, this gave me access to the track so I normally arrive a lot early so I can practice drifting :). this was my route to keep learning the sport until the first competitions, won the first races and after that things got more serious until today.

Its a top notchequipment, feel strong, feel like you are in a fast car but in your living room. I feel really connected with what im seeing on the screen to what im feeling on my hands.SIMAGIC is a key tool for my training before any FD race, I do spent some time on the sim right before any race to warm up. WHAT GOT YOU INTO RACING?

My dad raced professionally in IMSA, Trans Am, World Challenge and many more series so I started in karting at a young age before running out of funds early. I picked up sim racing as a hobby in 2016 and was able to become a full time professional race car driver through sim racing.

WHAT IS YOUR GOAL FOR YOUR NEXT TWO YEARS?

I want to win a TA2 championship with my team showtime motorsports.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE RACE TRACK TO RACE ON?

I don’t have any specific favorite tracks but i do love street courses as they have a lot more consequences and make you focus even more.

WHAT DO YOUR LOVE ABOUT YOUR SIM SETUP?

I love all of the adjustments that are possible with all of their equipment, no matter the car or driving style that you want to simulate, the SIMAGIC software and equipment allows you to make the adjustments needed to get everything as accurate as possible, all of this makes for great training when you’re not at the race track!

WHAT GOT YOU INTO RACING?

As a young kid, I’ve always had a passion for fast cars. I used to watch my dad race go-karts in the late 80s and early 90s and once I was at the age to get in one, there was no coming back from it. I got the poison in my veins at an early age and from there I was very fortunate to make a career out of racing and climb the category ladder all the way up to GP2 (Formula 2 of today) and race against the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Lucas Di Grassi and many more of those times. I had to quit in 2008 due to a shoulder injury which made me pursue a master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, specializing in Vehicle Dynamics. After 15 years of retirement, in 2022, I was fortunate enough to race for another year, but this time in sedan cars, in the European GT4 Championship in a BMW M4 GT4 racing for my local Turkish team Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport.

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR THE NEXT TWO YEARS?

Open up a Sim Racing hub under the name eRacing Academy and have people from all around to world come and train for both sim and real racing purposes.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE RACE TRACK TO DRIFT ON?

Well, I mostly prefer fast-sweeping tracks such as Spa Francorchamps, Silverstone GP, Istanbul Park, Sepang, and of course the Nurburgring Nordschleife…

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR SIMAGIC SETUP? HOW DOES IT HELP WITH YOUR TRAINING?

I really enjoy driving with my SIMAGIC setup as it makes my driving very immersive. The FFB quality from my Alpha U really allows me to feel the car and how it behaves on the road. The size and grip of the FX Pro is good and also the dash quality with the number of functions it has is very helpful for multitasking while driving. Finally, the P1000’s build quality and its ease of the brake pedal use with great precision is something I can drive for hours. The haptics on the P1000 can also be very useful to set up the car and understand your driving when it vibrates during ABS and TC activation.
